Saturday after discovering another room in our house with painted wallpaper and spending an extra couple hours tearing it off the wall, Iron Man and D Mike Jones decided to go rock climbing! I was not up for it because I didnt feel so hot, and quite frankly was very uncomfortable in my choice of clothing. I was wearing his gym shorts, and a tank top from which I had worked in all day. Aunt Weenie (D Mike Jones' wife) didn't want to climb or repell either because she is afraid of heights. Iron Man wasn't very happy with me because I didn't want to repell or climb, but note that I would have had I been more comfortable. Honestly I can't wait for them to go again so I can be more prepared! Anyway, here are a few pictures from the evening of rock climbing and repelling. Monday, April 19, 2010
Iron Man? or Spider Man?

Update on the house...
So far we have torn out our master bathroom, and we also tore out a closet in the master bedroom to make it bigger. For some reason it had two and we didn't feel like we needed two. Since tearing out the bathroom we have a new tub, new window, and new tile! Iron Man did the tile for the shower and got it done the other night other than the grout, I think he will be working on that tonight. It looks pretty good and I am very proud of him even though im OCD and got after him about it not being perfectly lined up :) Sorry hunny! It looks awesome! Then Monday night me and my mom painted the first coat of paint in the master bedroom, and on Tuesday I painted the second coat of paint and the first coat of paint on the ceiling. So far it looks 100x better! I'm excited to see it finished. We are painting the back wall in the bedroom black and I haven't started that but am hoping to this weekend. Also I am going to try to get the other bedrooms and hallway painted this weekend too! We'll see. Last night we went to home depot to buy the tile for the floor, the vanity's and a few extra things we needed, $500 later.... and the cabinets we bought still have to be stained which we haven't bought yet. PS while we were loading all the supplies in the truck, (picture me, at home depot helping carry big cabinets, tile, ect. in high heels and a dress. I'm sure I was laughed at a few times!) I picked up a box of little tiles to frame in the bathroom window, and I bet you can't guess what happened? CRASH! The box was inside another box that had no bottom. I looked at Iron Man expecting to be chewed out in front of everyone else who were loading their supplies. Oh and the whole time we were loading, some Home Depot guy with his orange apron on was watching us while standing around spraying equipment off! He watched me drop the tiles, but saved my life and a later argument because even though Iron Man hadn't chewed me out yet, I knew it was coming, Home Depot guy came over and picked them up and went inside and replaced them FREE! Thank goodness for him! Those tiles (24 of them) were 60 bucks! And 9 of them broke! I felt so stupid. But was glad Iron Man kept his cool and didn't make me feel worse.

June 25, 2010
Is going to be the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!
Iron Man proposed on April 4, 2010.
The story: Iron Man called me Sunday morning and we were talking about going on a Spring walk. However, he informed me that it had snowed so we probably wouldn't be able to go. But he said if you want to we could go up the canyon and go for a Winter hike. I was down with that and told him I wanted to take the camera and take some pictures. So we found a nice trail that he had been on before. It was beautiful! There was still snow on the ground and all of our pictures turned out AWESOME! His tripod was in the car, so we took it up with us. And set it up in a few places to take picures of us. We would hang our coats on a tree and then he would set the tripod and camera up and then I would pose in the spot we were trying to get the picture in so he could figure out which angle to take it at, then set the timer and run over to meet me for the picture. He took me up to this bridge that was really pretty with the river running under it and the snow everywhere. He had set the camera up and then was running over to get in the picture, except he had forgotten to take his coat off!
Me: "You forgot to take off your coat!
Him "Oh well, this will be a practice photo."
So im standing there posing and he comes around the back side of me, kneels down, and popped the question! I was so shocked, happy and excited! I didnt know what to say.
Me: "Is this for real? Are you serious? Like? It's not a joke?"
Him: "Um... Are you going to answer me?"
Me: "Oh! Yes! Yes! Can I open the box?" (he just gave me the box that the ring box was wrapped in)
Then we hugged. For a long time. And kissed! Awe cute I know! It was perfect! He did a really awesome job! I am really excited and cant wait for June 25 to get here. We are still working on the house. I haven't been very good at updating lately! I'll try and make another post tomorrow on the house update.
